Founder
Neil founded Kohd after years of leading digital transformation and serving grassroots sport. Combining enterprise technology standards with first-hand club experience, he works closely with organisations to create practical products that solve real operational challenges, helping clubs protect their heritage, generate sustainable income and build stronger communities.
Having spent many years as both a technology leader and a dedicated rugby club volunteer, Neil has served the game in a wide variety of roles, including coach, Mini & Junior Secretary, Chairman and Honorary Secretary of Fylde RFC. Those experiences gave him first-hand insight into the commitment required to run successful community clubs and the pressures faced by volunteers balancing limited time and resources.
Recognising that large organisations benefit from sophisticated technology, governance and operational processes, while grassroots clubs are often expected to achieve extraordinary outcomes with ageing systems and volunteer-led teams, Neil founded Kohd to help bridge that gap.
Neil believes technology should remove barriers rather than create them. His focus is on applying enterprise thinking in a practical and accessible way, enabling clubs to spend less time on administration and more time supporting the people, traditions and communities that make grassroots sport so important.
Today, Neil continues to work closely with clubs, listening to their challenges, shaping new products alongside volunteers and ensuring every innovation remains grounded in the realities of community sport. His vision is simple: to give every grassroots club access to the quality of technology, governance and operational excellence traditionally available only to much larger organisations, helping clubs build stronger, more sustainable futures for generations to come.
